In fact, I have bought at least a dozen of books so far in order to offer them as gifts to my friends and loved ones, and today, I would like to talk about one of those books. These gifts, of course, could be anything, from a nice gift card and flowers to some fancy objects. But, today, I would like to talk about a time when I offered money as a gift. It was about a couple of years ago when the birthday of my best friend’s nephew was approaching. The boy was about 6 years old who I used to treat just like my own nephew. But, he wasn’t exactly like other boys of his age as he didn’t have much liking f

Today, I would like to talk about one such gift, a “pair of jeans”, which was important to me. Not sure, why people still call it a “pair of jeans” even though it is just one “piece of clothing”, but whatever we choose to call it, I really liked my jeans pants when my uncle offered it to me as a gift after graduating from my high school about 8 years ago. By the way, it was a rather unexpected

After much consideration and several attempts at different gift shops, I finally purchased a Lego set for the birthday girl. The Lego pieces came in a large box, and it contained at least a hundred and fifty Lego pieces.

I have recently received a special gift and it was a Kashmiri shawl. The shawl was brought for me from India. I have received two books by my maternal uncle naming – ‘The Chocolate War’ by Robert Cormier and ‘Life As We Knew It’ by Susan Beth Pfeffer. Both the writers have beautifully illustrated some of the issues on the books which were unknown to me before reading them. In fact, the books have opened my eyes and I have learnt to think in some newer perspective.
