Model Answer 1:
In my “not-so” short life, I have received several gifts from my family, friends and relatives, and all of them seemed to be special in one way or another. Today, I would like to talk about one such gift, a “pair of jeans”, which was important to me.

Not sure, why people still call it a “pair of jeans” even though it is just one “piece of clothing”, but whatever we choose to call it, I really liked my jeans pants when my uncle offered it to me as a gift after graduating from my high school about 8 years ago. By the way, it was a rather unexpected gift from my uncle as he was never really very fond of “jeans”. So, when I got the gift, I actually had to ask my uncle to confirm that it was actually he who bought the pair of jeans.

Anyway, it was great looking jeans, which came in 100%  cotton and was dark navy blue in colour. It fit me just perfectly, leaving enough space between my thigh areas in order to manoeuvre my “bottom” part of my body freely. The pant had altogether about 6 pockets, if I remember it correctly, and all of them were large enough and easily accessible to my rather big palms. One of the most distinguishable features of that pair of jeans was that it was surprisingly light in weight.

It was an important gift to me because I could wear it for any occasion. Besides, the colour of the jeans was so “unique” that I could wear it with any kind of regular shirt or t-shirts of any colour. Sometimes, I would even sleep in my jeans and still no ‘folds’ could be seen on it, and which meant that I didn’t really have to worry about “ironing” it. However, the best thing about my jeans is that I managed to wear it for a long period of time without causing any damage to it and thus not worrying about spending any extra money on buying another pair of pants for a long time.

Sample Answer 2:
Receiving a gift is always pleasant. Everyone loves to receive gifts and when it comes from one of the closest buddies, the enjoyment is even more. Often the pleasure of receiving a gift is more important than the gift itself. The same thing happened to me last Christmas when Samuel, my close friend, presented me with an excellent t-shirt that I really liked. I was very much excited both about the gift and the good gesture from my friend. After receiving the nicely printed T-shirt, I thanked him generously.

I usually receive gifts on my birthdays and they come mostly from my family. So, when Samuel, who rarely gives gifts to others, arrived at our home in Brussels, I was happy to see him just a couple of days before Christmas. The enjoyment turned even higher when he gave me a gorgeous looking t-shirt that he had picked for me from a branded shop.

Samuel is such a good friend and we virtually do everything together. We are undergraduate students at Vesalius College and I know him for more than a few years. He is a brilliant student with a sharp classy look. He is one of my best friends and we love to share lots of things.

The T-shirt that he gave me was merely a clothing item, but it was important as a token of appreciation and affection from my friend. Samuel is a helpful and understanding person and I value our friendship. So when he spent some time picking a gift for me just before Christmas, it turned out to be one of the best gifts to me.

And that’s exactly how I succeeded in achieving a goal recently, which I otherwise thought was not possible. Now, calling “riding a car always” - no matter wherever I go and how short the distance is - is a “bad habit” that might actually offend some people, but it certainly felt like one to me. I found out that I was gaining extra pounds in my body, and my fitness was deterioratin

You have one minute to think about what you're going to say. When I was browsing the CNN.com (in fact I visit the website at least twice a day), a news story titled - ‘How to lose a job in 30 seconds’ attracted me. I thought that the news story is about offering suggestions to give up a job within half a minute. But when I entered the story, it was a different thing. CNN.com is o
