Model Answer 1:

Introduction:
Thank you so much for giving me the chance to talk about a place I visited that is surrounded by beautiful views. For this topic, I’d like to share a memorable experience I have had visiting Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. It’s one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever been to, and the views there were absolutely stunning.

Where this place is:
Ha Long Bay is located in the northern part of Vietnam, near the Gulf of Tonkin. It’s about a four-hour drive from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The bay is famous for its emerald-green waters and thousands of towering limestone islands, each uniquely shaped. The beauty of the place is truly unmatched, and it’s been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its natural beauty and ecological importance.

When and why you visited it:
I visited Ha Long Bay last year during a trip to Vietnam. It was a part of my vacation, and I had always heard so much about the area’s incredible beauty from friends and in travel magazines. I decided to go there to unwind, relax, and experience one of the most picturesque locations in Southeast Asia.

What views you can see from this place:
From Ha Long Bay, you can see panoramic views of lush green islands scattered across the water. The bay is surrounded by massive limestone cliffs and rock formations that rise sharply from the sea, creating an almost surreal landscape. The water is a beautiful shade of green, and when the sun shines, it reflects off the surface, creating a sparkling effect. You can also take a boat ride to explore some of the smaller islands and caves, and there are some great spots where you can look out over the entire bay. One of the most unforgettable views I had was from the top of Ti Top Island, where I could see the entire bay spread out in front of me, with hundreds of islands and islets dotting the water like pearls.

And explain why you think these views are so beautiful:
What makes the views of Ha Long Bay so beautiful is the combination of nature’s majesty and the tranquillity of the place. The towering limestone islands, some of which are covered with lush greenery, create such a dramatic contrast against the calm, reflective waters of the bay. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re in a different world, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the sheer scale of the natural formations, made me feel both small and awestruck at the same time. Ha Long Bay is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited.

Sample Answer 2:

I'd like to thank you for giving me this interesting and nice topic to talk about. For this, I want to talk about a mountain viewpoint I visited called Sunrise Peak, located just outside a small hill town. I went there during a short holiday last year because I needed a break from work and wanted to spend time in nature.

I arrived before dawn and hiked up the trail with a small group of travellers. We reached the top just as the sun started to rise. I still remember standing there, catching my breath, and suddenly forgetting how tired I felt.

From that viewpoint, I could see rolling hills stretching to the horizon, layers of clouds floating below us, and a river winding silently through the valley. As the sunlight spread, the entire landscape slowly changed colour, from pale grey to golden yellow. Birds started flying over the cliffs, and the wind carried this cool, refreshing smell of pine trees.

I think these views looked so beautiful because everything felt calm and untouched. I normally spend my days surrounded by noise, buildings, and deadlines, but up there, the world looked peaceful and incredibly spacious. The height gave me a sense of perspective, almost as if my problems suddenly became smaller. I also loved how nature moved at its own pace while we just watched quietly. That combination of silence, fresh air, and breathtaking scenery made the experience unforgettable.
