Model Answer :
Thank you so much for this interesting and nice topic. I'd like to tell you about an experience when I had the honor of representing my college's debate team in an inter-college debate competition a couple of years ago.

This event took place during my second year at college. I was an active member of the college's debate club, so when the opportunity arose to participate in this prestigious competition, I was both excited and a little nervous. The competition was held at a renowned university, and it attracted teams from various colleges in the region.

I was part of a three-member team, and we had been preparing for this competition for several weeks. We chose a contemporary and rather controversial topic - the impact of social media on society. As the lead speaker for our team, I felt a weight of responsibility to present our arguments convincingly.

The competition was a two-day event. On the first day, I remember walking into the debating chamber, feeling a mixture of nervousness and anticipation. There was a large audience and a panel of experienced judges, which only added to the pressure. But as soon as I began speaking and presenting our team's perspective, my initial nervousness started to dissipate. It was like a surge of adrenaline and passion. My teammates and I were in sync, building upon each other's arguments, and I was quite pleased with our performance.

The second day was the most crucial as it was the finals, and our team had made it. The atmosphere was even more intense. We debated against a team from another well-known college, and I could see the determination in my teammates' eyes. The debate was fierce and thought-provoking. We argued our points passionately and defended our position with conviction.

When the judges announced the results, I was overjoyed to hear that our team had won. It was a moment of immense pride and a testament to our hard work and preparation. I felt a great sense of accomplishment for myself and for my college. Representing the debate team in that competition had been a significant responsibility, and I was thrilled to have contributed to our victory.

And that’s exactly how I succeeded in achieving a goal recently, which I otherwise thought was not possible. Now, calling “riding a car always” - no matter wherever I go and how short the distance is - is a “bad habit” that might actually offend some people, but it certainly felt like one to me. I found out that I was gaining extra pounds in my body, and my fitness was deterioratin

When I was browsing the CNN.com (in fact I visit the website at least twice a day), a news story titled - ‘How to lose a job in 30 seconds’ attracted me. I thought that the news story is about offering suggestions to give up a job within half a minute. But when I entered the story, it was a different thing. CNN.com is o
