Greece - my beloved country is also a land of diversity. People here love to eat various types of fruits after almost each of their daily meal. And a large number of fruits is available all around the country, and most of them appear in different seasons. Watermelon is one of the very popular seasonal fruits that is loved by all. For this nice topic, I would like to talk about watermelon which is very popular in Greece.

Watermelon is widely available during the summer season and it is perhaps one of the top three favourite fruits in my country. Some people like watermelon more than any other fruits. A major part of the fruit contains water and helps people hydrate their body during summer. The fruit gained popularity also for its amazing taste and refreshing quality. Since the fruit contains fewer calories and it is also enriched with vitamins and other healthy compounds, people of all walks of life love it, and so this fruit is hugely popular in our country.

Of course, I like watermelon. In fact, this is one of my favourite fruits during the summer time. I like its exquisite taste, delightful smell and refreshing quality. A glass of freshly made watermelon juice revives me to the fullest.

Watermelon is a popular fruit in my country for many reasons. In summer, people need to remain hydrated and watermelon is good option for that. Moreover, it has a delicious flavour and satisfying taste that people love. Since it is widely available all over the country, it has gained its popularity as a delicious, healthy and savoury fruit.
