I generally like to play with children as they are so innocent and adorable. However, with my busy schedule, I can hardly manage any time to play with children. But I can remember an event when I spent almost an entire day with a child and played different games and sports with this lovely kid. For this topic, I will share my experience.
I had to attend a birthday party a couple of months ago, and it was the birthday event of my colleague Mr Robert Perera's child. It was his 6th birthday. The child was barely 6 years old, but the attitudes and acts he showed were much more mature compared to his age. In fact, after spending a few hours, talking to him and playing several games and sports with him, I grew a fondness for this charming little boy who was very smart.
The child, Robert Junior, whom I am talking about, is extremely intelligent. He loves to read books and play games that invite mental challenges. It was pretty interesting.
I had many hours to spare and play with this boy. The birthday event was in the evening but I reached my colleague's house before noon. I reached there early to help my colleague with the preparation but instead, he and her wife insisted that I take care of their child and they do the rest. So I agreed and spend the hours till the evening with the boy.
I asked the boy to bring something to play with and to my utter surprise, he brought a chess set to play with me! He played really well. He later took me to their backyard and we played cricket for a while. Again, to surprise me, he told me a lot of information about this sport which was unlikely for a five or six years old kid. I thought he was just a gifted child.
I was pretty glad to have a chance to spend the day with this remarkable child. Spending some time with children always gives me pleasure, and this time it was even greater as the kid was very gentle, amiable and talented. I felt happy to be present and get to know him on his birthday. I wish to visit and spend some time with this kid again.
