Model Answer:
Staying home all day long is not an easy task, especially for people who like the outdoors and nature. In fact, this is one of the toughest tasks for me as I love to go out and enjoy the outer world more than staying home. But it does not matter if I like it or not, I have to stay home the whole day sometimes, and for this topic, I will share one of such experiences.

It happened last December and I had been home more than 30 hours as I got stuck at home for the sudden and excessive snowfall.

I live in Montreal, Canada, and this place often has heavy snowfall during the winter season. However, this time it was very sudden as if it came without any warning. So, on that fateful day, I could not go outside for the heavy snowfall. It snowed all around the city and the weather forecast report showed that the situation would deteriorate. Since I was already under the weather, I decided to stay home considering the weather condition and my health.

The feeling of staying home for the whole day was significant this time because I was all alone at our home. My family went to visit a relative, and I decided to stay. But little did I know that the weather would betray so terribly, and I would be stranded at home all day. Anyway, I cooked some food, watched a movie, read a magazine, listened to some music, and browsed the internet while I was not sleeping or working. I also called my family to learn how they were doing.

I did not feel good being trapped at the house for such a long time. The experience was not something that I would describe to be pleasant. It was quite the opposite! I wish the weather was not so terribly bad and I could go out and enjoy at least the evening time. But nature had some other plans for me!

We started our journey from the vibrant city of Da Nang and headed south toward the historic town of Hoi An, riding along winding roads that hugged the breathtaking coastline. My travel companion on this journey was my closest friend, Andrew, who, like me, has always had a passion for exploring off-the-beaten-path locations. We had been planning this road trip for months, sharing dreams of navigating Vietnam’s coastal highways ...
