Model Answer 1:

As a Canadian, I am actually glad that my country has produced some great leaders since the day my country came to existence as “Canada”. Justin Trudeau, the current prime minister of Canada, is one such leader, and today, I would like to talk about him. Also, thank you for this great cue card topic.

Justin Pierre James Trudeau, born in December 25, 1971, is a Canadian politician who has served as the 23rd prime minister of Canada since 2015 and has been the leader of the Liberal Party since 2013.

Trudeau not only is the second-youngest Canadian prime minister but also his father was too was the prime minister of Canada. Therefore, it is very much fair to assume that becoming a political leader is very much in his blood, and he is doing this job of leading his country from the front very well. And, that’s why we don’t become surprised when we see him adopting all kinds of liberal and progressive policies to unite the country while also greatly enhancing the image of Canada to the rest of the world.

Anyway, after becoming the prime minister, he has opened the door of Canada for thousands of refugees from all over the world in order to offer them a better and safe life.  Besides, he also has taken some concrete steps to combat climate change by adapting to clean energy practices. On top of that, he is probably the only leader in the world who doesn’t give just some “lip service” to the idea of equality between men and women but also takes necessary steps to ensure that by having an equal number of male and female members in his cabinet.

Anyway, I like Justin Trudeau, primarily because he has some great leadership qualities, like his “decisiveness”, meaning he actually means what he says and does everything to implement his decisions. I also like him because of this great leadership quality whereby he is never afraid to reach out to his friends and foes alike to make this world a better place.

Model Answer 2:
Narendra Damodardas Modi (aka Narendra Modi) is one of the most popular leaders in India and he is the current Prime Minister of the state who took office since May of 2014. He is from Bharatiya Janata Party also known as BJP and earlier was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Under his leadership in 2014, the BJP gained the majority of the Lok Sabha and since his taking office, the party is aiming to improve some of the specific sectors of the state like the development of infrastructures, inspiring foreign investment, improving health and sanitation issues etc. His economic policy is also adorable.

Mr Modi is a relentless leader and been always busy with his development initiatives as Indian Prime Minister. Most of the times he is to be busy with maintaining the government and office and proudly own a charismatic style of governing. Though he has some failures during his tenure as the Prime Minister, the successes he made are impressive. As a result, the foreign investment has increased a lot in the country, the GDP has increased substantially, improved the diplomatic relations with the neighboring countries and internationally (getting the US President in India), subsidies to the poor, subsidizing the cooking gas, plan for subsidized foods for the poor, subsidized fertilizers for agriculture expansion, drastic change in the coal and telecom auctions, successful management and presence of mass media, application and use of social media to express his thoughts and development plans and most importantly he remained out of scandal. The rate of corruptions has also decreased and the people are having smooth state services. Besides, the premier has arranged for toilets in every school for the student, launched soil health card scheme to increase productivity and raise farmers’ income.

He is a strong leader for the country and his leadership is proven at different times. He loves to take risks and whenever he takes the risks, he turns the winner as the risks are well calculated. He loves to inspire people and analyses the event surrounding him and guess the effects of the activities. Accordingly, he takes the decisions and those are proven to be beneficial for the people. His style is a bit different than the other typical political leaders and thus he has gained a global reputation. He is well aware of his powers and weakness and applies them wisely to achieve his goal. But sometimes his decisions might prove wrong considering the changing situations but most of the cases he is right with his intuition.

I like him most for some specific reasons. He has his own distinctive style of dealing with people and solves the problems in a unique manner. He waits for the right moments when he fails with some issues and most importantly he loves his people. So, he is my favourite leader.

Model Answer 3:
Nguyễn Phú Trọng is presently the most powerful leader in Vietnam and holds the position of general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He has been playing the role in the same position since 2011 and was reelected in 2016 for his successful previous tenure. He was born in a peasant family in 1944 but with his smartness and extraordinary intelligence, he has gained the positions and became the most powerful man in the country now. After his joining with the Communist Party in 1968, he worked hard for the party and played different roles. He mostly edited the Communist Review issues (a mouthpiece of the Communist Party in Vietnam).

Nguyễn Phú Trọng has done a good number of things for the country and its citizens. After completing his academic studies, he got involved officially with the Communist party of the country started playing different roles for the party. He devoted himself to political activities after he received a degree of Candidate of Science from the Soviet Union and became one of the most prominent theoreticians of the country. The theoretical work of the party used to be edited by him. He has great contributions to the country’s economy reformation and reducing the existing troubles of unemployment. He mostly focused on the reformation of the fragile economy of the country and sorted out some of the ways to get rid of those.

Nguyễn Phú Trọng is the leader who is a bit different from the other contemporary leaders of the country. He is filled with enthusiasm and self-esteem. He is able to plan and implement them effectively. The country, Vietnam, is filled with enriched historical traditions and culture and the leader always tries to uphold his own country everywhere he goes. Being born in a poor family, he has become the most powerful man if the state now and it has happened for his sharp sense of right and wrong. He creates chances and grabs them to be successful and by the same time he is well aware of his surroundings lest none of his fellows become damaged or has to lose interest in the betterment of the party or the people. He is a bright man with a beautiful mind.

I like Nguyễn Phú Trọng very much for his outstanding qualities as a national leader. He is one of the talented leaders and best students of the greatest leader Ho Chi Minh. He has been engaged with the party for a very long time and a reliable leader who is with the people in their need. He understands people and their needs and accordingly takes measures to remove the obstacles impeding them to progress. He is wise and practical and thus he has risen at the peak of success.
