Model Answer 1:
I am not an early riser and my lifestyle has been changed accordingly. In fact, I sleep late at night and wake up around noon but in last month I had to rise early to attend an interview for the post of a sales executive in an international company dealing with computer accessories.

I have completed my graduation last year from the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan and been passing an unemployed period since then. The rate of unemployment is too much in Pakistan for different reasons. Many of the educated youths are unemployed. Though some of them have started a business to be self-reliant, most of them cannot do so for the want to money. So, receiving an invitation for a formal interview at a multinational company was really unexpected and surprising to me. So, I broke my usual rules and started for the interview. Though I reached there in time, I found a large queue of applicants for the similar post. The company was supposed to hire only two sales executives while the number of applicants was over hundred.

My ordinary lifestyle is a bit different from the other citizens of Pakistan. I usually start my day after the noon and remain awake until last part of the night. Usually, I play video games or watch movies in night times. Since I am not engaged in any job, my parents and other family members are not annoyed with the lifestyle though they sometimes try to suggest me to change the style. They are bored with my typical reply that everything will be okay after I get a job for me. So, when the interview letter arrived at my home, it was a bit difficult for me to adjust to the interview schedule. I had to get up by 6.00 am so that I could reach in the interview location within due time. The interview location was set in a corner of Lahore and that was moderately distant from my living place. So, I had to get up early.

This is the age of expansion and everything is changing. By the same way, traffic on roads have also increased in Pakistan and most of the times the main streets are occupied with different sorts of vehicles and transport modes. So, if someone wants to reach any destination during the office hours, it is wise to start early. A 5-minute late could make them stop on the road for half an hour. Though the interview location was only one hour journey by bus from my home, I did not take any risk. I was applying for jobs from different job searching websites and the majority of the employers were unresponsive to my application. But this multinational computer manufacturer was a bit different from them. So, if I miss the chance of attending the interview only for traffic congestion on the streets, it would be considered as a bad luck for me. Thereby, I woke up early on that day and took necessary preparations to move for the interview.

The day was sunny and warm. In fact, it was a new day for me as I do not wake up so early. I woke up too early and even before the family members in my house. I enjoyed the morning beauty for few minutes standing in the garden inside our house. This was made with the initiative of my father. I saw the flowers to bloom. Then I took my bath and got ready for the journey. Usually, I have my brunch every day but I took breakfast on that day. It happened as I woke early. Moreover, I felt the fresh breeze passing by surrounding me. Since I was early, I found the bus almost empty and there was no traffic congestion on the streets. Usually, the congestion begins after 8.00am as everyone rushes then to their offices and other workplaces. I reached my destination in time. Moreover, I enjoyed a splendid morning that I have never checked before.

Sample Answer 2:
I had to wake up at around 4.30am in the morning last week to receive my father who was returning home from a business trip. Despite being an early riser for the regular days, it was difficult for me to get so early. But I enjoyed the day. Thanks for your question.

My father went to Turkey for some business purposes. On his way back to home, he was feeling uncomfortable and thus he informed us before boarding the flight from Istanbul. He asked me to be present at the airport in Paris to bring him home. After his recommendation, I went to the airport. So, I needed to wake up early in that day.

I woke up at 4.30 am sharp. I had set the alarm at this time. Usually, I sleep by 11.00pm but on that night, I took an early sleep so that there are no troubles with my sleep. I need to sleep at least seven hours in a day, and if the sleep time is less than seven hours, it becomes difficult for me to manage everything. Attending classes is a big problem for me on those days when my sleeping cycle is incomplete. So, I planned everything accordingly. Luckily, everything went very well. I woke up at the right time and brought father home safely.

The airport was a five-minute drive from my home. And the flight was supposed to land on 4.45 am. I know it takes around half an hour to complete all the process and get out of the airport. But I did not take any risk. I wanted to be at the airport even before the landing of the flight. Accordingly, I had to wake up in the wee hours of the day. My father relies on me much. He also shoulders me some of the responsibilities related to his business and in past, I have completed them with sincerity. He knows that I would be able to handle everything. And considering the matters, he asked me to be at the airport.

The day was fine with me. I returned home with father by 7.00 am and then slept for three more hours. I did not attend my university class on that day. Rather, I went to my father’s company to accompany him for the day. In fact, my dad asked me to be with him on that day. He really was sick. Actually, he suffered from a sudden fever and digestive disorders. As he is selective in taking foods, there might be something wrong with the foods in Istanbul. He had some important meeting with some of his clients and on behalf of him, I took care of everything. It was a great day for me.

Waking up early requires habit and willpower. But in the mundane life, this is almost impossible for many of the people to get up early. It happens to the uncontrolled lifestyle in cities and our excessive business. The cue card wants to know about a time when the candidate woke up early. Here are some additional answering hints for them.

1. Waking up early is not with my habit. But I had to wake up early last week for some special reasons. I wanted to surprise my fiancé on her birthday. I prepared a birthday card for her last night and wanted to deliver it in the early morning through her door. I also planned to knock the door, and run from there. So, I had to wake up early.

2. On Monday last, my younger brother arrived from New Jersey. It was his sudden trip and he did not inform about it to anyone. So, when the bell rang in the early morning (it was 5.30am), I was annoyed. My parents also got shocked at the morning bell. I opened the door and was surprised seeing Robert standing on the door.

3. I had to wake up early in last month to attend a written exam for a job. In fact, I did not have the preparations and wanted to study something. So, I woke at 4.00 am and started research about the organization. The test was excellent that day but I did not attend the job for I did not like their salary package and other terms.

4. My younger sister just crossed her primary and mom asked me to arrange for her admission in a good school here in Delhi. So, I went to collect the admission form for my sister. Believe it or not, I went there around 5.30am and found hundreds of people were standing in the queue. I was shocked at the scene.

5. I have never seen a sunrise. So, when I went to the honeymoon with my wife, I planned to enjoy the sunrise scene. Accordingly, I woke up early on that day in Bali, Indonesia. He view was magnificent. I woke up half an hour before of the sunrise and got out of the resort. It was a nice morning. The sun gradually came up and I became an admirer of this natural view.
