Model Answer 1:
Charlie Chaplin is one of the most popular comic actors of all times. The English actor has won the heart of global audiences with his extraordinary performance even in the age of silent movies. He not only is an actor, rather is a composer and filmmaker.

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, KBE, is commonly known as Charlie Chaplin in the entertainment history. He was born in the 18th century in London, though there are no official records for his birthplace. His parents were music hall entertainers and he gained the legacy. He established himself as an icon in the film industry. He is a special actor who performed over 75 years at a stretch. He started performing the comic character since his childhood and continued till the year before his death. All of his performances have been adored and criticised. But the most important thing about him is that nobody could have surpassed his success so far. All of his performances were filled with satire to the society and often gave messages to the audiences to change themselves. He began his career at an early childhood for his survival.

Charlie Chaplin is probably the best comedian of the world. He has performed in many movies though he began his career with stage shows. His early life was filled with hardship. His family turned poor as his father left while his mother had to struggle for survival and she was financially insolvent. So, he had to take responsibility of himself for his own survival. He started performing in different music halls and after some days, he turned into a stage actor. He was skilled in comedy and thus he became a comedian. When he was 19, he got engaged with a prestigious company that accelerated his career. He settled in the USA. He officially started appearing in movies since 1914. He developed the Tramp persona which made him more famous than before. The number of his fans increased after adopting the specific walking style and costume. Making a Living was his first movie but his debut on Tramp was in his second released movie named Kid Auto Races at Venice.

Charlie Chaplin is one of most successful comic actors. He also directed his own movies from his early age. He believed that only he would be able to express the things which are required for the success of his movies. The results were awesome. The movies he directed are still popular among the audiences. He became globally famous by 1918 and it was done only by his excellent and sincere performance on the movies. He made movies with silent features. In fact, the movies only showed the scenes and expression of the artists but there were no sounds against the expressions. Though he was asked to move in the sound films, he rejected the ideas. The combined foundation of a distribution company made him complete and he started directing his own movies without any further troubles. But he was made controversial after the making of The Great Dictator that satirised Adolf Hitler and that started losing his popularity. He was also made subject to different scandals and especially the marriage of a younger woman was in the focus of attention. Later he was forced to go away from the USA. All such issues made him a bit nervous and he left his Tramp in the later films.

I like Charlie Chaplin for different reasons. The first and the most important cause behind preferring him is that he was a perfectionist. Besides, he was a brilliant actor, a great musician, a perfect director, a great producer and an expert editor. He has directed almost all of his movies, composed music for the movies, has produced and edited them. He took years to make films and the majority of the movies were about social and political issues and themes that were preferred by the audiences. Some of his movies are considered as the greatest movies ever made in the entertainment industry. He struggled in the early part of his life but later he gained financial stability that allowed him to make movies independently. Before making a movie, he underwent lots of preparations to make them perfect and thus the movies he made are still appealing to all ages of audiences.

Sample Answer 2:
Hollywood is the kingdom of artists and entertainers. A large number of people have made their luck in this film industry and Clint Eastwood is one of them. He is a filmmaker, politician and a musician as well. Now he is an international figure. Thank you for this cue card topic that allows me to describe my fascination for this legendary actor. I will describe him in brief now.

Academy Award winner Clinton Eastwood Jr. is an American star and mostly he is famous for his legendary roles in western movies. He is considered as the symbol of masculinity. His rapid actions with guns have made him a great hero to all ages of people. He has played role in various types of movies including thrillers, actions, suspense etc. He is also influential in politics of his country.

Eastwood is mostly a celebrity in the USA. He was born in 1930 and got success in Hollywood movies. His roles in some of the western movies are still legendary and made him an iconic figure in the history of Hollywood movies. He also took part in some action comedy movies of his age and all of those were successful too. Basically, the commercial successes of the movies have brought him into the limelight and still, he is under the light with the similar pace as he was before. He knows how to act and has developed his own tradition. Wearing a classical western dress, holding guns in his waist and drawing them fast brought his position permanently as a celebrity.

As an actor, Clint Eastwood has become successful. He has also received Academy Awards for his success. He is also a winning director. Interestingly, he did not appear in the movies under his direction. But the movies were kind of masterpieces. Unluckily, some of his directions and starring movies were crucially praised in other countries while they did not have their luck in his own land. His star-image started gaining success in the 1960s and reached the peak after 1971 with so many films which were filled with actions and thrills.

I admire this artist for so many reasons. I have an attraction for western movies since an early age. He was the hero whom I adored most especially for his outstanding performance with guns. He used to place the revolver on the holster after a quick draw with a nice and attractive motion that I enjoyed most. Besides, he is also a successful politician and runs his own production company. His devotion to acting is remarkable. He dropped out from college to pursue acting as a career. But the beginning part of his career was uncredited and gradually he started capturing his own berth by his natural skills. So, I like him most.
