Model Answer 1:
There are different televisions shows available in the Philippines but I like most the 'Goin' Bulilit', a 45-minute run time television show for different reasons.

Goin' Bulilit is basically a sketch comedy and aired on every Sunday. The show has been going on since 2005 and its popularity has not been decreased to the slightest extent. The show is about kids in different situations particularly the comedic activities made by the kids and the show has been awarded PMPC Star Awards for TV as the best-laughing show in 2005 (the year it kicked off airing). Since then, it has been going on ahead with different gag issues to make the audience laugh. Most of its audiences are the adults but kids have also the same attraction for the show and over 500 episodes have been aired.

The show is made mostly to make the audience laugh in all the possible ways but is completely different from the regular commercial comical programs. The show features mostly the children of different age range and their comic activities in different situations. The show is comprised of different segments and some of the characters regularly play important roles, and the most interesting fact is that the show never uses any adult individual for playing adult roles. The kids are trained to portray the adult roles and that brings a laughing element. The children cast in the show have also become familiar across the country for their outstanding performances on the show. However, the show despite being made by kids, it is aimed to entertain the adults as the kids do not have the developed senses to enjoy the events sometimes.

I mostly like the program for its natural events that make us laugh. Besides, the performances of the kids belong to the top class. They in some cases go above the professional comedians with their performance and ready wits. I think it is expanding their knowledge and raising their skills as a performer. But they have some lacking too like they perfectly cannot portray the adults and thus the adults should also be included in the show to carry out their roles. Besides, the show time is a bit difficult to manage and the advertisements before starting and in the middle of the show are much in number that creates irritation among some of the audience.

Whatever the setbacks are, the audiences eagerly wait for Sunday to enjoy the show. It happens mostly as they are turning mechanised gradually to lead the modern life. They have less laughing stocks in the current days. Only watching the show is a sort of relief for them. Thereby, the show has become a popular one. But it also should be acknowledged that the events and segments of the show are made with special care and creativity. Without the creative making, Goin' Bulilit could not be as successful as it is today.

Sample Answer 2:
Enjoying television shows is really awesome if you have leisure hours. And as a homemaker, I have less time to be at the side of my television set. In fact, the chances of recreational activities for women, particularly the housewives, is limited. So, television shows are the best ways for them to get entertained at home. Thank you for the question and I am happy to be here to answer it.

There are some comedy shows available in Nepal and I am fond of Bhadragol. In English, the meaning of the show stands as unmanaged. This is a sitcom that is aired on NTV. The show runs on every Friday and I wait eagerly for the show. This is one of the most preferred shows across the country and thus the television channel has got the highest TRP for last few months got telecasting the show. There are some characters on the show which keep the viewers laughing all the time.

The show comes with various issues in its episodes. But the most common plot of the show is about the regular events of a local village in Nepal. There are some characters and they perform various comical activities that create a sense of laughter among the audiences. The central character of the show plays the role of a criminal who lives in a village and does mischievous acts which make the audience to laugh out loud. On the other sides, there is another central character who loves to make the villagers fools in every possible way. People of the village also turns fool to the cunning strategies of the characters. But none of the strategies is meant to harm the villagers. Rather, these strategies are a kind of learning for the villagers. They become intelligent and try to be smart in such situations again.

I like the show very much, particularly the Pandey character. This is the character who is not a crook but tries to make the people fool and take the advantages of befooling them. He cheats the villagers in innovative ways. Sometimes, the villagers can sense the cunning strategies or tactics to be applied to them. But they cannot resist due to the ready wit and smart answers from the character. When they realise that they have been fooled, they regret and take an oath not to be fooled again. But when they meet Pandey again, he makes them fool. Besides, the character of Jigri is another interesting one. By nature, he is a crook and he has some fellowmen. All of them commit petty crimes across the village and the villagers are extremely disturbed by their activities. All the events make a comic scene which is enjoyable for the audience in every minute.

The show is very popular in Nepal for multiple reasons. First of all, this is a very small land with a small population. Most of the times, the people are busy with their respective activities and have less time for refreshment. Though this is known as a heaven for tourist across the world, the local people are unable to enjoy the beauty of nature. In fact, they are not attracted with the beauties as they regularly experience with them. Besides, life is filled with struggle here. So, it is only television which can bring a sense of comfort among the people. And when they watch television, they prefer the comedy shows to get rid of the day-long troubles they undergo. Besides, the plot, characters and setups of the show attract the attention of the audience. Based on all the factors, this is a much popular show in Nepal.
