Model Answer:

Whether I like it or not, I receive tons of text messages on my mobile phone, most of which are usually not important. But, today, I would like to talk about a text message which was really important.

I received this text message about a year ago or so when I was travelling to another city because of some important professional tasks. Before leaving my hometown, I already told my family that it was going to be a while before I returned home. So, I wasn’t exactly expecting any kind of communication on the part of my family. But, still, I was on the lookout to see if there was any message on my mobile phone. Then, probably at around 8 pm one night, I did receive a message, but that wasn’t from any of my family members. Instead, the message came from a dear friend of mine who lived in abroad and who I didn’t see in more than a couple of years.

Initially, of course, I couldn’t really believe that it was indeed my friend who sent that message to me, but then I rechecked his message and confirmed that it was indeed him. Anyway, the message said that he was coming home from abroad and that he wanted to start a business with me in partnership. By the way, I gave a business proposal to this good friend of mine almost 5 years ago, but at that time, he wasn’t really sure about starting that business. So, I had no other option than to postpone the plan even though, I very much kept my hope in this business plan all along these years.

Anyway, the message was important to me, primarily because, after all those years, I was probably going to be able, I thought, to choose a career path and have a great degree of financial freedom. The message was important for me also because it gave me a hope to live close to my elderly parents, right in my little but beautiful hometown.

And that’s exactly how I succeeded in achieving a goal recently, which I otherwise thought was not possible. Now, calling “riding a car always” - no matter wherever I go and how short the distance is - is a “bad habit” that might actually offend some people, but it certainly felt like one to me. I found out that I was gaining extra pounds in my body, and my fitness was deterioratin

You have one minute to think about what you're going to say. When I was browsing the CNN.com (in fact I visit the website at least twice a day), a news story titled - ‘How to lose a job in 30 seconds’ attracted me. I thought that the news story is about offering suggestions to give up a job within half a minute. But when I entered the story, it was a different thing. CNN.com is o
