Model Answer:

I have never really been one of those “family” persons who understand the household need of a family, especially, when it comes to buying anything. But, still, I take my chances and buy things from time to time, just like I did about a few months ago, which I not only liked but also, I think, made my “fussy” mother proud.

This thing, which I really liked and still like very much now, is a sandwich maker machine. Now, I don’t really think that the idea of buying a sandwich maker would ever come to me if I hadn’t visited a very popular tourist spot in my country about a few months ago and saw a very busy street food store using a very nice looking sandwich making machine to prepare her sandwiches. After trying a sandwich, and a very tasty one too in that, from that street food corner, I told to myself that I had to have one of those sandwich toasters. So, the same day, I headed to a big electronics appliance store and bought the same type of sandwich maker.

By the way, the price of this machine was a bit on the more expensive side since it was made by one of the most prestigious electronics appliance companies in the world. It looked really nice with its shiny black colour and it had a very attractive looking handle. But, the main reason, of course, for buying this particular thing was that it would help my mother and sisters-in-law to make some fresh snacks and serve them to our guests instead of offering them some old and “junk” snacks.

Anyway, I liked it so much, mainly because it could prepare some tasty sandwiches with all kinds of fills in them in a few minutes, and thus saving a lot of hassle and time in the process. I liked it also because it didn’t only look very fancy, but also very durable for rough use.

We started our journey from the vibrant city of Da Nang and headed south toward the historic town of Hoi An, riding along winding roads that hugged the breathtaking coastline. My travel companion on this journey was my closest friend, Andrew, who, like me, has always had a passion for exploring off-the-beaten-path locations. We had been planning this road trip for months, sharing dreams of navigating Vietnam’s coastal highways ...
