Model Answer 1:
Spending time in the countryside can indeed be a very relaxing and memorable experience for anybody who likes to live close to "Mother Nature". I also like to enjoy my day in the countryside whenever I get an opportunity, and today I would like to describe such an enjoyable day that I had spent about a few months ago.

This place was not really very far from where I lived nor was it really that difficult to get there. It was a very beautiful and scenic valley with lots of green around it. And a flowing river with clear water made it even more beautiful. I could see some healthy cows also, roaming around and eating grass, a bit far away from us.

By the way, my elder brother and my sister-in-law also accompanied me on that day, and we had just no idea that the valley could look so beautiful on winter noon. With the sun, shining with such a bright and smiley face, and a perfectly blue sky over our heads, the day just couldn’t be any more perfect for enjoying the countryside.

Anyway, after arriving there, we settled down very close to the valley in order to relax and enjoy the natural view around us first. Then we decided to rent a boat and ride it a little deep into the river to do some fishing practice, and luckily, we did manage to catch some big fish! Then, we decided to take a little walk in the beautiful valley where we ended up discovering a huge flock of birds, which were also probably visiting the area just like us. We tried to count how many different kinds of birds there were, but we failed as they were just too many. A little later, we had a little barbecue to deal with our hungry stomachs.

I really enjoyed our day out because it brought me real close to a very peaceful and natural environment, away from the hectic city life. Besides, the experience of enjoying a barbecue with the fishes, which we actually caught with our own hands, was simply priceless!

Sample Answer 2:
Last year, I went to Salado, a small village in Texas and this was a charming place where I passed some leisurely moments with my family and friends. I enjoyed the day-long trip in Salado and participated in a few attractive activities which made the day more memorable. This is a great candidate task topic for me and I would like to thank you for that.

I went there with my parents and three siblings as well as Tom and Bill, two of my intimate college friends. I study with Tom and Bill in college and we made a plan to visit the countryside in the state and accordingly picked this small village to spend a day. So, we made the trip and it was an exciting event for all of us to spend a day in the countryside, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We did many enjoyable things together. Fishing on Salado Creek was perhaps the most exciting of them all. Frying the fishes we have caught, eating a delicious lunch under the open sky, strolling on the village streets and enjoying the calm nature were some unforgettable activities we did. We also took breakfast at one of the local restaurants, Stagecoach Inn, and we were served a traditional menu.

The visit was enjoyable for many reasons. It was a relief for us from the monotonous city life. So, an exciting break from urban life was much needed. Accordingly, after making the plan, we materialized it and we loved it. The memories of the trip will last for a long.
