Model Answer 1:
The surrounding areas of the Mount Maunganui have a beautiful environment. The place is located in New Zealand and the locality is locally known as only The Mount. This is a great area for living and spending leisure hours. Despite being a place of various activities like commercial, industrial and even contains residential areas too, this is a nice place with a beautiful environment. This is a good cue card for me and I will describe the area in brief.

The location is beautiful and filled with happiness. The white sand beaches invite the travellers and the locals as well to surf on the water. Besides, the Mount is also an eye-catching thing to look at which was originated from. The sheltered bay in the inner harbour is a great place for leisure activities. Moreover, being a beach town, this city has got a magnificent look.

After migrating to New Zealand, I went there for the first time in last year. I actually went there for some relaxing purposes and had a great enjoyment with the popular activities there. I took part in surfing, boat ride and many other water sports. I also enjoyed the natural views of the locality. The tip of the peninsula peak is an attractive place and people can reach there which is a challenging task. The splendid surf beach is always filled with surfers and they compete with the sea waves.

This is a beautiful place for its natural views. The entire place is covered with greeneries and the views become more beautiful during the sunset. It appeared that peace and happiness are hiding everywhere in this town. The calm breeze from the sea, the large lava dome, the natural and fresh foods, fewer people, sandy beaches, the stunning scenarios everything has made it beautiful.

The main highway of our locality was built around 15 to 20 years ago and it has connected the locality with the main city which is about 20 kilometres away from the countryside we are living in. But now it is almost ruined and there are ditches across the road that has made the road bumpy. When it rains, the rain waters clog on the centre of the road and make it muddy.
