Model Answer 1:
A journey inside a city like Mumbai is often not so pleasant for a female commuter like me. Moreover, traffic congestion makes the journey dull and annoying. So, I often have to experience an unpleasant short journey within this city. For this topic, I would like to share one such experience - which was perhaps more bitter than others!

A few months ago, when I was commuting to my university - located in the central part of Mumbai city - I took a bus. The bus I rode into was "overcrowded", and I could not manage to get a seat. It was during the summer season and the sun was shining mercilessly. On top of that, the humid weather made things worse for all -especially for those who were outside travelling in a crowded bus! To make the experience more ominous for all of us, the engine stopped in the middle of nowhere and we had to walk for at least 15 minutes in this excruciating heat to reach a nearby bus bay! A horrid day indeed. Due to this, I was late for an exam that started at 10:30 am.

I was travelling with a friend of mine who happens to study at the same university where I study. Though we got on the bus together, we could not stand nearby due to the heavy crowd. However, it was a relief that he was with me when the bus's engine malfunctioned and we had to walk in a deserted area.

After we reached another bus station, we had to wait for more than 25 minutes to take another bus. During this time, I was worried that I would miss my exam, and it made me feel sick. The unbearable humid weather and high temperature were unbearable.

Naturally, the bad experience of the journey, the tension to miss the exam, the agonising weather and my helplessness in that situation made the experience a nightmare, and I did not like it at all.
