Model Answer:
Kathmandu - the city where I was born and have been living in for the last two decades - is a beautiful city and has many special places. This city has a remarkable sports stadium, and it is mainly used for several sports-related activities. I have been to this stadium several times, and for this nice topic, I would like to talk about it.

The name of this sports stadium is "Dasarath Stadium". "Dashrath Chand" is a martyr of Nepal, and the name came after this great hero. I believe it is quite important for our city as it hosts many important national and international sporting events which are watched by millions of people. The stadium is located at the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal, and it can accommodate over 18,000 spectators at a time.

I only go to this stadium when our national football team plays against another nation and when I believe the match is going to be interesting. Nepalese people love football, and I have been to this stadium at least 7 or 8 times to watch football competitions in the last five years. I also had been there once to enjoy a music concert which took place in this stadium a few years ago.

When we have an important match, the stadium and its surrounding area transform to become a lively place. The surrounding area takes a festive look, and people of all walks of life go there in thousands. The area remains illuminated all night. Nepalese citizens go there to enjoy the sports and show their support for our national team while many foreigners from neighbouring countries also come to enjoy the match and support their teams. During a sporting competition, this place becomes full of passionate sports lovers.

This is an important place for our city for many reasons. Firstly, it brings people from all parts of Nepal together, and they cheer and shout with a passion to support the national team. This brings people together and allows them to show their patriotism. It is also a great place for organising different other important events like music concerts and the National Day Parade. The stadium makes the surrounding area beautiful, and this is why it is perhaps one of the most important parts of our city.
