Model Answer 1:
Thank you for the topic. A place I would love to visit one day is the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. I’ve read about it since childhood, and the more I learn, the more fascinated I become.

The Great Pyramid is the largest of the pyramids in Giza, and it is believed to have been built as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu around 2500 BC. It is the only surviving wonder of the ancient world, which already makes it extraordinary. For centuries, it was the tallest human-made structure on Earth, and considering the tools people had back then, that fact alone still blows my mind.

What attracts me most is the mystery surrounding its construction. Historians think massive limestone blocks were quarried and dragged across the desert, then lifted into place with ingenious techniques. But the exact method is still debated. Inside, there are multiple chambers, including a burial chamber deep in the centre, and the architecture is incredibly precise. Standing in front of something built with such skill, without modern technology, would feel surreal.

I first studied the pyramid in a history course at university. Our lecturer explained not only how the pharaohs ruled but also how the Nile shaped the entire civilisation. Out of curiosity, I started watching documentaries and reading research articles online, and I discovered details about Egyptian beliefs regarding the afterlife, mummification, and the treasures buried with kings. Some of those practices sound harsh by modern standards, but they reveal how deeply the Egyptians believed in life after death.

I want to visit the Great Pyramid because it represents human ambition, creativity, and mystery all in one place. Walking around it would feel like stepping back thousands of years and seeing how people once tried to make their mark on history. To me, that isn’t just sightseeing. It’s a reminder that curiosity and determination can achieve unbelievable things.

Model Answer 2:
Thank you for this great topic. Well, a place I’d really love to visit is the Zanzibar Archipelago, which is off the coast of Tanzania. I’ve seen pictures of it, and honestly, it looks like a dream.

Zanzibar sits in the Indian Ocean, and people often describe it as a tropical paradise. The water is crystal clear, the beaches are golden, and the whole place has a very calm, relaxing vibe. But what I love is that it’s not only about scenery. There are lots of things to do, from exploring small islands to enjoying local culture and food.

One thing that fascinates me is Stone Town, the historic part of Zanzibar. It has narrow streets, old buildings, and a really rich history connected with the spice trade. Some of its past is dark, especially the slave trade, but visiting it would help me understand that history better. On the fun side, Zanzibar is famous for activities like sailing, snorkelling, and diving, and I’d definitely like to try those. Even simple things like walking along the beach at sunset sound amazing.

I first started thinking about this trip when I was looking for a good holiday spot for myself and my wife. My job keeps me busy all year, and I get only a short annual break. While searching online, I came across photos of Zanzibar, and once I saw them, I couldn’t really get the place out of my head.

The main reason I want to go there is to completely switch off and relax. It feels like the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and forget work for a while. I’d love to walk on the beach, watch the sunrise and sunset, and just spend quiet time together. At the same time, it offers a bit of adventure, which makes it even more appealing.

Sample Answer 3:
A city I’d love to visit in the future is Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. I’ve seen it so many times in photos and videos that I almost feel like I’ve been there already, but I’d really like to experience it in person. Before I go into the details of my plan to visit this beautiful city, I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to talk about it.

Kuala Lumpur is famous for its incredible skyline, and the most iconic landmark is the Petronas Twin Towers. They look stunning during the day, but at night, when they light up, they’re on a completely different level. The city also has beautiful parks like KLCC Park, huge shopping malls, and lively street markets where you can try different kinds of local food. Another attraction that really interests me is Batu Caves, which is just outside the city. It’s a series of limestone caves with colourful steps leading up to a temple. It looks unique and culturally rich at the same time.

I first learned about Kuala Lumpur from travel documentaries and YouTube travel vlogs. Later, a couple of my friends visited and told me how modern the city is, yet still very welcoming. They showed me their photos, and I was honestly amazed at how clean and organised everything looked. Since then, I’ve read articles and watched more videos, and every time I do, it makes me want to go even more.

The main reason I want to visit Kuala Lumpur is that it offers a mix of everything I enjoy: modern architecture, diverse culture, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’d love to walk around the city centre, try local dishes like nasi lemak, and simply observe how people from different backgrounds live together so peacefully. On top of that, I think the trip would be refreshing and inspiring, both mentally and creatively.
