Model Answer 1:
This is a great topic to discuss. I have recently received a special gift and it was a Kashmiri shaal. The shaal was brought for me from India.

This is a local shaal produced in the region of Kashmir which has a border both in India and Pakistan. Actually, shaal is a kind of chador which is used to cover up the body in winters. The Kashmiri shaal is very useful during winter as it provides a mild heat that is required to protect people from the cold. I am glad that the shaal is comfortable and comes with a unique and attractive design. The length of the shaal is moderate and it is easy to use. I like its design – coloured in white a bluish shed which makes it look uncommon. I am very happy that this was given to me as a gift. This is one of the best gifts for me.

My maternal uncle, Xzhao Xing went to India last month for some of his business purposes and he brought the shaal from there. In fact, the Kashmiri shaals are not available in Thailand. Some of the clothing stores sell them on a limited scale but with a higher price. Since the sellers are to import the shaal from India, the prices become higher. As a result, everyone cannot afford them. Once I asked for such a shaal to uncle as he visits different countries for his business and if India is in his trip plan. But it was really a wonder to me when he gave me the shaal on. In fact, he loves me much and brought the shaal for me as promised. Now I use it for different purposes and do not need any other warm clothes when I am out at night.

I got the shaal on last Monday. We had a family gathering at our home where my parents invited almost all the relatives living near us. My mum prepared a dinner and everyone attended on the preset time. My uncle was a bit late. He attended in the last moment. When I opened the door for him, he just wrapped me with the shaal. I was surprised with such behaviour as he never did before. But suddenly I realised that I am wrapped by the shaal that I dreamt for. He made the dream come true. I hugged him tight. Everyone in the room praised the shaal for its colour and uniqueness. They have also never seen such an eye-catchy shaal before.

Definitely, I like the shaal. Being a student, I am unable to pay the price to have this shaal for me. Even I was unable to save baths to buy this shaal. So, I was highly happy having the shaal. The colour, the design, the length and width everything was perfect for me. I thanked uncle for such a wonderful gift to me. But he warned me to sue the shaal in the right manner. He also said that the shaal should be cleaned carefully and if it gets damaged, the beauty will get shattered. So, I am careful about it.

Model Answer 1:
I am a girl of 18 and just have crossed my higher secondary. Now it is time for me to get a graduate admission. I am planning for a very special trip outside of Pakistan once I am done with the admission.

I am planning to visit the neighbouring countries like India, Nepal and Bangladesh. There is a good number of visiting places for the tourists. Besides, the natural views are also priceless in those places. Always I have heard that travelling expands the outlook and broadens our mind. I had chances to visit the entire country of mine but never have had the chance to visit the other countries. I Hope this would be a great trip for me and help me enriching my knowledge and real-life skills.

I have been brought up in a liberal environment but my parents were always with me. They have behaved me like my friends and I have also shared everything with them. Whenever I went to any external trip out of the city, I was accompanied by either my father or by my mother. So, I expect this time I will be accompanied by one of them. But I want both of them to be with me on this special trip. In fact, they have not visited the neighbouring countries. My father remains busy with his teaching (he is a university professor) while my mother cares for the home. They have passed their life in this monotonous way and now I think this is their time to relax.

I think the admission process will be done within the next summer. The admission process is really difficult and I am planning to get admitted in the University of Punjab. This is one of the best and prominent universities in the country and adjacent to my home. After having the admission, I will start the trip. But by the same time, I have planed for the other necessary tasks. I do not have my own passport and planning to get one within next two months. Besides, getting visas for the countries is another important tasks, especially getting the visa for India since there are some political disturbances between the two countries. Managing visa for Bangladesh and Nepal would be easier, I think. When all the things will be done, I will need to wait to start the journey.

This is a very special trip for me in some aspects. The most important thing is that I have never board on an airplane. This will bring a chance for me to ride on the plane. Besides, I have read histories of the colonial periods but have not seen the places where the British domination took place in India. This will also meet my thirst to visit the places and get to know them personally. Additionally, my parents will be with me and it will also increase the joy of the trip. So, considering all the issues, I think this is a very special trip for me.

In fact, this is a distinctive curry that mostly depends on spices for aroma and taste. Some colourful fruits and vegetables are also used with the curry to make it more attractive and sometimes it is served with yellow rice instead of plain rice. Telling a lie is always considered as an evildoing that only brings disasters in life and when it begins, it does not stop until the man who told the lie is ruined completely. Thereby, it is imperative to get rid of the habit.

I had the experience on my college and I was the student of the beginning year. In fact, I used to tell lies and have survived the situations but this was the greatest learning of my life and has changed the directions of my life as well. I did not bring the homework and falsified the information with the teacher. The annual drama festival of my colleges is worth enjoying and every year, different classes stage their productions in the annual drama festival of the college. Hamlet by Shakespeare was the theatrical performance of my class this year.

The plot of the drama is known to everyone and thus it was the widely accepted one this year and for the extraordinary performance, it got the first prize in the theatrical performance category. The entire performance was enjoyed by the audiences present at the venue and there was pin-drop silence on the venue while the performance was on (under my direction).
